The audiobooks and podcasts that will have you the most productive you've ever been

The most underrated hack in the world for getting some shit done you’ve been putting off (getting your steps, doing the weeding, laundry, insert your least favorite chores) is a good distracting audio. I’ve compiled the audiobooks and podcasts that have had me absolutely hooked lately. Like jaw on the floor, listening for an entire 5 hour drive type into it. Okay, listen and then let me know what you think.
Bunnie XO's life story in Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic goes from the very gritty to the deeply spiritual, and I could. not. stop. listening. If you've heard of her before, you know she has a pretty wild backstory, but hearing about her childhood, her years in Vegas, and her relationship with Jelly Roll in her own words is just a wild ride.
I listened to the whole thing on my walks, cleaning the house, just finding any excuse to keep it going. I will say, I listened to the entire book right before their divorce announcement and it wrecked me 🥲 Whether you're already a fan or just love a memoir that feels stranger than fiction, she's such a special soul with a very rock and roll backstory. So good.
I read this entire book, The Midnight Library, in one day and I can't tell you the last time that happened. It just sucks you right into the world of a woman who's mid-dying (kind of) and ends up in a library full of books representing all the different paths she could have taken in life.
It's one of those stories that sticks with you long after you finish it. It actually left me feeling super emotional and inspired to pursue more in my own life. Just a 10/10.
RealAF by Andy Frisella — one of my regular repeats, especially the Q&AF episodes. If you're looking to get your shit together on a Monday morning, start here.
The best way I can describe Andy is that he sounds like the extremely successful uncle who genuinely wants you to pursue personal excellence and become the most successful version of yourself and is also going to yell at you a little bit as well. Which is exactly why I keep coming back to it. The kind of listen that will turn your walk into a jog.
Look, all I can say is if you're lonely for your girlfriends, looking for a giggle, or tired of men, Giggly Squad is probably going to be your next obsession.
I'm a religious listener. Hannah and Paige are like the coolest friends you have on a FaceTime call—gossiping, laughing, and talking a little shit about guys. It's the perfect listen when you want something light, funny, random, full of style advice, and guaranteed to put you in a better mood by the end of your walk.
Jesus is for everyone, full stop. If you're curious and looking for an approachable way to learn more, She Lives Freed with Brittany Dawn Nelson is your girl.
But if you're already in the spiritual world and looking for some really cool conversations about the ways faith has impacted other women's lives, you'll love this one. She has a way of making these conversations feel honest, relatable, and easy to connect with no matter where you're at in your faith journey.
Okay, I can usually guess the ending of a true crime story from the jump, but this one had my jaw on the floor. Something About Cari just keeps getting more and more messed up as it goes on. A man is being stalked by his ex, her son can't find her anywhere, and nobody seems to know exactly what happened. Nobody does it quite like Keith Morrison, and this one had me completely hooked.
Ohhhh my gosh. Remember the girl from iCarly on Nickelodeon? There was so much going on in her personal life I don't even know where to start.
Truly, her book I'm Glad My Mom Died is the kind of story that makes you go, "Oh yeah, my life hasn't been that hard." It's dark in parts, but I could not stop listening. I devoured it driving to and from Vegas, and every time I thought things couldn't get any crazier, they somehow did.
