Over the course of the last few years it’s become impossible to ignore how much mainstream women’s media leans into the liberal agenda. No matter where you turn, it feels like every headline, trend, or tagline carries a not-so-subtle jab at Trump, conservatives, or traditional values. And let’s be real—some of the ideals they’re pushing feel more disconnected from reality than ever.
I’ve had a life long love affair with magazines and women’s media. I grew up devouring magazines and flipping through articles that celebrated beauty, fashion, and ambition. But lately, I can’t help but feel the disconnect. It's hard to look at these pillars in the media and take their advice on things like style, lifestyle, and culture when I don't feel I can fully trust anything they write. Over the past six months, it’s become clear that the cultural pendulum is swinging back, and swinging hard, toward more conservative, common-sense values. People are craving authenticity, balance, and media that reflects their beliefs without sacrificing style or substance. So, where’s the space for women who value beauty, fashion, and strength, but also want content grounded in conservative or timeless principles? It’s a gap that’s begging to be filled.
Evie Magazine
Leading the charge in this space is Evie Magazine, a self-proclaimed "conservative woman's Cosmo." If you grew up flipping through the glossy pages of Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health, or Elle, you’re going to love this one. Evie primarily lives online, but they also release an annual hard copy, more of a coffee table book than a paperback magazine—that has featured powerhouse women like Kate Bock (the stunning Sports Illustrated icon), Kahealani Papke ("The Last Tahitian Princess"), and Hannah Neeleman of Ballerina Farm fame. Much like the magazines we all grew up on, Evie delivers articles on style, health, beauty, relationships, sex, culture, and current events.

They’re unapologetically rooted in this common sense, independent perspective. For women who’ve had enough of the liberal agenda dominating mainstream media but still crave beautiful, inspiring content, Evie is a breath of fresh air. It’s for the woman who loves fashion, values timeless principles, and prioritizes living beautifully.
The Trump Women
If there’s one thing this family nails, it’s powerful women’s fashion. The looks from and leading up to Inauguration Day were nothing short of iconic. Every outfit was completely on-brand, exuding elegance and sophistication, with many pieces showcasing American designers. Vogue aptly described Melania’s inauguration style as “severe and demure”, proof that she wasn’t here to play.

Ivanka continued that air of demure sophistication, but this time with a nod to Audrey Hepburn. Her custom Givenchy recreation gown was pure elegance, and throughout the week, she exuded class in every ensemble. From start to finish, she demonstrated a timeless sense of style that left an impression.

If you’re searching for powerhouse inspiration, look no further than Lara Trump. While she wasn’t widely known until recently, she’s now an undeniable force in the Trump campaign. My first real introduction to her was through her PBD podcast episode appearance, and I was genuinely impressed by her composure, grit, and refreshing authenticity. Her cascading red gown by Oscar Garcia-Lopez carried that through line of elegance but with a bit more edge.

Emily Frisella
Regardless of whether you’re an entrepreneur, there are invaluable lessons to be learned from women in business. Emily Frisella is a force to be reckoned with, having built powerful, inspiring brands rooted in hard work and unwavering beliefs. She proves that success comes from sticking to your values, no matter what’s trending in the moment.

Emily Frisella is an entrepreneur, author, and lifestyle influencer known for her work in the health, wellness, and personal development space. She's written the books "Saint's Plate and Sinner's Dinner," "Fresh Farmhouse Kitchen," and "Relationships First: People, Passion, & Profit." She puts on the 'Women in Business' conference every year, created The Paper & Plan Co, and is the COO of multiple companies. If you need a kick in the ass from your much cooler older sister, Emily is your girl. She's a huge advocate for entrepreneurship and empowering women to take charge of their own lives, and she does all this without sacrificing an ounce of style.
