EVRGREEN JULY INS: THE SUMMER OF SAYING YES TO MORE

Your Five to Nine Before (or After) Your Nine to Five

Summer doesn’t care about your Outlook calendar. This is your permission slip to stop letting work be the main character. Whether it’s a pre-office sunrise walk with a podcast and an iced matcha or a “let’s be delusional” breakfast date with your friends at 7:30 a.m. on a Wednesday, your life is happening now. And after hours? That rooftop bar is calling your name, so is a twilight round of golf, a boat ride, or a walk that turns into dinner. Romanticize your schedule. Work can be part of your life—it just doesn’t get to be the whole thing.

Coconut Milk Nails 🥥

Not quite white, not quite sheer—just that creamy, glazed glow that somehow makes your tan look ten shades darker. Coconut milk nails are the quieter, cooler cousin of your classic summer bright white pedicure. You can ask for it in-salon, or DIY it by layering a white polish with a milky top coat (by mixing your clear and white polish together). The vibe is barefoot on a yacht with a glass of something chilled. Clean, rich, and totally in control.

Lymphatic Drainage

The not-so-secret secret to feeling lighter, tighter, and glowier in 24 hours. Whether you’re sipping on tequila spritzes all weekend or trying to keep it clean and green, lymphatic drainage is your wellness cheat code. Book a session (with me), sure—but you can also DIY it: start by “opening” your lymph nodes (especially in your abdomen, armpits, and around your collarbones and jaw), then go in with your gua sha or hands for facial or abdominal drainage.

EVRGREEN JULY OUTS: WHAT WE’RE LEAVING BEHIND THIS SUMMER

Razor Burn

Listen, things have to get cleaned up for summer but we do not have time for razor burn right now. Absolutely not. You’ve got places to be and swimsuits to wear. This summer, we’re saying goodbye to razor burn and the angry aftermath of rushed shaving jobs. Long-term: look into laser hair removal. Short-term: get serious about exfoliation, shaving cream that actually hydrates, and products that soothe, not sting. Hot girl summer doesn’t include ingrowns.

Perfect Aesthetics

There’s a time for beige minimalism—but summer is not it. This is your sign to leave the grayscale Rhode-core behind and embrace a little chaos. Wild prints, messy beach hair, glitter on your collarbones, florals in your braid. Think: island girl energy meets 2000s music video. If you can’t wear that ridiculous-but-cute bikini in July, when can you?

Rigid Wellness Schedules

Structure can be your best friend—but if your fitness routine is starting to feel more draining than exciting, we’ve got a problem. This season, we’re swapping the “I have to hit the gym at 6 a.m.” mindset for a more playful one. Movement should be fun especially this time of year. Stroll the farmer’s market. Learn to wake surf. Do yoga in the park. Anything that helps you feel good in your body, however that looks.
