The face mists we actually use for calming irritation, refreshing skin throughout the day, supporting your skin barrier, and helping prevent breakouts.

Facial sprays, toners, mists—are one of the most underrated categories in skincare. They're also one of the few products you can actually toss in your bag, use without it being a huge hassle, and see real benefits. I like to keep one in my purse at all times for after the gym and especially between massage clients to combat sweat and bacteria before it has a chance to cause breakouts. If you're acne girl these sprays are a game changer.

But they're equally as useful if you find your makeup getting dry and cracked mid day, or you're spending a lot of time outdoors getting windburnt or sensitive, or even if you're just feeling oily and grimy mid day and need a refresh. A few spritzes can bring everything back to life. These are the five facial sprays that have earned a permanent spot in our bags.

Your everyday purse, acne, post-gym, bacteria fighter.

I genuinely have the Tower 28 SOS spray in about three different bags, and I think everyone should have one on hand. It’s such an easy, everyday product with a really approachable price point, especially for the amount of product you get.

I recommend this one all the time to anyone dealing with acne, to keep it in their bag and spray it on after the gym, a sweaty day, or (my personal favorite) between massage clients to help get rid of sweat and bacteria before breakouts have a chance to start. The hypochlorous acid helps calm the skin and fight bacteria. It’s simple, it works, and it’s one of those skincare products you’ll actually use.

The one to throw in every bag you own.

The one for rebuilding and balancing your skin.

This is one of my higher-end recommendations, but it’s one I genuinely think is worth the investment. I was introduced to this product by one of my aestheticians, and it quickly became a staple during my own skincare routine.

What I love about this spray is how calming it is. It’s one of those products that almost every skin type can benefit from whether you’re dealing with irritation, sensitivity, dryness, or just want to support healthier looking skin.

Aesthetician recommended, worth every penny.

You’ll hear a lot about “balancing your skin barrier” and “supporting your microbiome,” and while those phrases can feel like skincare buzzwords, when they're on point you really do notice a difference. Essentially a healthy skin barrier is what helps your skin look calm, clear, and actually glowy. When your barrier is compromised, that’s when redness, irritation, dryness, and breakouts tend to show up. This is one of those products that helps your skin get back to a healthier baseline.

Hydration hero for sensitive skin.

Eminence Organics is a lesser known skincare line, but this mist has earned a serious reputation (and a lot of beauty industry recognition). It’s been featured and awarded by major beauty publications (think Vogue, Elle, Vanity Fair) and for good reason it's so simple but so refreshing.

This is the one I reach for when my skin feels dry, sensitive, or just needs a little refresh throughout the day. It’s amazing as a step in your skincare routine, but I also used to love this as a makeup prep and setting spray when I was going through intense acne treatments that left my skin feeling dry and irritated. If you have sensitive skin, annoying dryness, or just want that fresh, dewy skin feeling without adding another heavy product, this one is such a beautiful option.

Simple, refreshing, celeb adored.

Aesthetician recommended, luxury feel.

This is another higher end recommendation that was introduced to me by one of my aestheticians, and you will feel a difference with the packaging. The micromist sprayer gives it a super fine mist application. This is actually the spray I keep with me between massage clients. Sweating and working closely with clients used to be a major trigger for my acne, so this has become one of my go-to products for helping refresh my skin and keep bacteria and irritation under control throughout the day.

The formula is incredibly calming and anti-inflammatory, making it a great option for sensitive or reactive skin. It’s also commonly recommended for concerns like redness, rosacea, and psoriasis because of how soothing it is.

High end feel, start to finish.

The easiest place to start.

If you’re curious about hypochlorous acid but don’t want to spend a lot, this is the one I’d look at first. Magic Molecule is one of the most affordable options out there, and it’s also incredibly easy to find (you can grab it at places like Target and Walmart.) The formula is simple, gentle, and I’ve never had any irritation from it.

It’s also one of the sprays that helped make hypochlorous acid such a popular skincare ingredient. Beyond skincare, I see a lot of people using this spray for little everyday skin moments (like cleaning minor scrapes, cuts, or irritated areas) which says a lot about how gentle it can be.

If you’re looking for an affordable, no-fuss way to try hypochlorous acid, this is probably the easiest entry point.
