Come Window Shopping with Me (or Perhaps Real Shopping)

The upside of every brand suddenly leaning into the western aesthetic? There are some very cute pieces out there right now. The downside? My new hobby is hunting them down. Consider this your invitation to come window shopping with me, because until further notice, this is where I’ll be.

The Steve Madden Alexi Pumps, they feel like something you’d find in a perfectly curated vintage store. They're so texturally interesting and the mix of animal prints just makes them fun but in a way that feels intentional. They'd be perfection with a flare jean or a leather pant, very desert chic.

This is the kind of shoe that does the work for you. Throw it on with a flare jean or a leather pant and suddenly you look like you have a point of view.

The Flames Leather Handbags are truly the inspiration behind this entire spiral I simply cannot get this bag out of my mind. All of their bags are essentially the same with the flame detail, but come in so many variations (dark leather, lighter tones, cowhide) every version somehow better than the last. This bag is like the epitome of cool girl. She’s on a horse. Or a Harley. Or dancing on a bar somewhere. I don’t know, but I love her.

The LaRosa Lauren Decorative Buckle Belt is the first thing on this list I’ve actually purchased (and definitely not the last). It’s “inspired by” the Ralph Lauren western buckle belt and there is endless Pinterest inspo for styling this baby. Very classy, decent quality, and one of those pieces that adds a western touch without having to go all out. I've worn it with denim dresses all the way up to black tie.

This dainty cowboy hat bolo necklace is exactly the kind of accessory that makes you feel styled without trying too hard. It’s delicate enough to wear every day but still gives that subtly western wink. Pair it with a simple tee and layered chains or let it peek out from under a denim jacket.

The Tecovas The Carmen Slide are like the western version of the Hermès Sandal. So perfectly minimal, still so cool. They come in ostrich and python, which just makes them feel a little more elevated than your average sandal.

Ultimate summer shoe with shorts or a linen dress, the kind of addition that elevates the whole look.

Simple, classic, a little gritty. That's what we like. Textured silver rings are a western first step if you're not ready for a full turquoise situation. Dip your toes in girl.

I mean come on. A flirty little baby tee, the perfect summer concert piece. She'd be perfect with a 90's cigarette jean or a little leather skirt.

We love having you here! Subscribe for free to stick around.
