Takes the same amount of time as regular cookies but they're 1000x more whimsical.

These cookies were my Spring fever dream, they might a little off the wall but I think you'll be shocked how well they complement each other. Of course you can make traditional chocolate chip cookies but why would you when you have the option to mix in anything?

Ingredients

8 tablespoon butter

1/2 c. sugar

1/4 c. brown sugar

Dash of vanilla

1 egg

1 & 1/2 c. flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Pinch of salt

Chunked up white chocolate

Half smashed Cadbury eggs

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°

  2. Mix together butter & sugar then add in vanilla & egg.

  3. In a separate bowl mix together your flour, baking soda, & salt.

  4. Add all your dry ingredients into the mix.

  5. Roughly chop up your white chocolate bar, kind of smash your Cadbury eggs with the flat of your knife, then add those too.

Makes 18 cookies or 12 large cookies. Start by baking for 9 minutes and check, might need a few extra minutes especially if you made larger cookies.

What I'd do differently next time: leave the white chocolate in bigger chunks than you'd think. It doesn't melt very much and the bigger chunks look much more bakery style. Cut a few Cadbury eggs in half the long way and press them into the top of each cookie pre bake, it's just for aesthetics but it looks so nice!
